Chris Van Dusen produced the American historical fiction-romance television series Bridgerton for Netflix. It is Shondaland’s first scripted series for Netflix and is based on the Julia Quinn book series.
The show is set in the competitive world of Regency era London’s elite during the social season in the early 1800s and centres on the fictional Bridgerton family.
This is the social launchpad for young, marryable members of the nobility and gentry. December 25, 2020 marked the debut of the first season, while March 25, 2022 marked the premiere of the second.
The first half of the third season is scheduled to debut on May 16, 2024, and the second portion on June 13, 2024.
Bridgerton Season 1 Review
