The Australian television drama series “Heartbreak High” ran from 1994 to 1999. A 2022 Netflix relaunch of the show was recently developed.
All of the kids whose names were on the map that exposed the sexual adventures of Hartley High students are made to take a new sexual education course called the Sexual Literacy Tutorial (SLT) after it was found scrawled on the school wall.
After taking the fall for the co-author of the map, Harper McLean (Asher Yasbincek), who has stopped speaking to her after a catastrophe at a music festival they attended, Amerie Wadia (Ayesha Madon) ends up as a social outcast.
Positive reviews were given to the first season, which went on to win an International Emmy Award, and garner 15 nominations for AACTA Awards, including six wins for Best Drama Series. The second season of the show has been renewed, and it will debut on April 11, 2024.
