Comedian Rachid Badouri was born in Laval, Quebec, on October 16, 1976. His parents were Moroccan Berber immigrants. In Laval, Quebec, at College Montmorency, Rachid Badouri received his first stage experience. He had a significant appearance in 1999 at the Just for Laughs (Juste pour rire) festival in Montreal, giving a talk on immigration. Additionally, he made several humorous media appearances in Quebec media (print, radio, and television). Arrête tonne cinéma!, Rachid Badouri’s debut solo exhibition, opened in October 2007.
